You understand a rapid before you run it.
I’m Antoine Bruge, packraft instructor and freshwater biologist. I take you down the rivers I paddle season after season. You learn to read the current, choose your line and understand how the river lives.

Where I paddle
In Béarn, mountain rivers are called “gaves”; in the Basque Country, we paddle the Nive and its tributaries. Each trip is chosen according to the group’s level and the water level of the day.

FAQ
Before you go
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes, 25 metres, and be comfortable going underwater. Buoyancy aid and helmet are worn the whole time.
I’ve never packrafted, where do I start?
With a private day for your group: the river is chosen to match your level, no experience needed.
What if the weather or water level isn’t right?
Safety comes first: I offer you a new date or a full refund.
